The bathroom at Railway Cottage was fantastic! It had everything I needed, including a bath with a shower and screen. I loved being able to relax in the bath after a long day of exploring. It really added a touch of luxury to my stay.
Personally, I would have preferred a separate shower instead of just a bath. Others might still enjoy it though.

The kitchen was mind-blowing, fully stocked with all the cookware and utensils we needed. The bathroom was super clean, with a jaw-droppingly large bath and amazing shower pressure. The cottage had clear instructions, plenty of hot water, and even a secure garden. The location was convenient and the cozy house had everything we needed. Plus, we were thrilled that pets were allowed and there was a strict no smoking policy on site. And the cherry on top? Free wi-fi!

Convenient location near attractions and amenities. Secure garden for added peace of mind. Comfy bed provided a good night's sleep.
Carpets in the front bedroom had stains, and the chairs in the front room needed cleaning. the bathroom shower screen and towel rail needed attention, and there were signs of grime on the tiles and limescale on the taps.

I was very eager to visit The Scallop at Aldeburgh Beach and chose Railway Cottage solely for its convenient location. To my surprise, the complimentary wireless Internet access was a delightful feature. Additionally, I greatly enjoyed the dining area with a fully stocked kitchen, perfect for a meal with friends or family. The Cross Keys, Aldeburgh, offered a great spot to pop in for a pint and savor a traditional wood-fired pizza in the beer garden. The range of local Adnams ales at the traditional pub added to the overall enjoyable experience. Fish and chips were also a welcomed treat.
Difficult key safe to open. Uncomfortable beds in the second bedroom.

The property was perfect for a coastal getaway, just a stroll from the sea and high street. The Lighthouse restaurant offered a relaxed atmosphere that made me feel at home.
Who needs clean living areas or comfortable beds anyway? Not this place.
